I'm not a diehard petrol-head but there was enough in this trip to interest me so readily agreed to my husbands suggestion that we go. With George driving and Wayne's organisation, all I had to worry about was taking in all the fantastic scenery as we clocked up the miles. We enjoyed the Grand Canyon both by helicopter from Vegas, then into the North Rim - just stunning. Bonneville was the destination and was a real treat. I saw the movie and was curious, but being there was quite special, it's such a great atmosphere.
When we were in the RVs we were reasonably independant, being armed with Tom Toms and American cellphones to keep in touch with the other 3 RVs. They were all great company and we looked forward to setting up camp at the end of each day and swapping stories over a glass of wine and yummy food off Wayne's BBQ.
Thanks Wayne for being such a fantastic host.

My Motorsport keen husband thought it would be a great opportunity to go to a classic event like Speed Week on the Salt Flats at Utah. Have to admit the allure of 3 days in Vegas and 4 in San Francisco was more my style...... and someone else handling all the tour arrangements appealed also.
Wayne was such a great tour leader, making sure everything went smoothly and we all had an enjoyable time. He also did an excellent job BBQing our evening meals when we were camping out in our RVs. Lots of fun.
We were lucky to have his wife Janet on this trip too. Ken thoroughly enjoyed all the motorsport activities, especially the uniqueness of the Bonneville experience.
I can recommend this trip to anyone who isn't necessarily a "petrolhead".
Thanks Wayne & Janet
